Maison Albert Sounit
During the first hundred years of its existence, Maison Albert Sounit mainly collected wines from the Côte Chalonnaise and sold them. Albert Sounit was the one who founded the domain in 1930 in Château Jeunet, in the heart of the Crémant de Bourgogne district, Rully, Côte Chalonnaise. The castle dates from the end of the 19th century and has 120 meters of underground tunnels in which sparkling wines are aged. In 1993, Albert Sounit sold the business to his Danish importer Knud Kjellerup, who bought it, along with two other friends. They invest money, a lot of effort and passion, both in expanding property and production, and in raising the guilt of guilt. Small yields, hand picking, local yeast, vinification on plots and in barrels, are decisive for the making of wines in Maison Albert Sounit. The choice of barrels is the result of many years of work. Different sizes, types of wood, way of making are used to achieve the perfect balance of the wine.
