Pinot Noir - the dominant variety in Burgundy - is a challenge for every vigneron and winemaker. Pinot noir wine has a specific aroma of red fruits in all their possible nuances according to the way of vinification - from fresh red cherries in the lighter versions to dark overripe black cherries in the more intense and heavy wines, which also acquire distinct earthy notes.
