The history of Umberto Cesari began in 1960 with 20 ha of vineyards located in the heart of Emilia Romagna. Despite the expansion of the territories, the focus always remains on the careful care of each vine plant. Currently, the winery has 175 ha of vineyards planted with different varieties of grapes, selected according to the terroir of each plot. The grape harvest takes place between September and October. Interestingly, the winery has 6 buildings / botti / adapted only for aging wines. In them are located all oak barrels - 225 liters of French oak, 550 liters. called tonneaux and 30hL of Slavonian oak.
