Distillerie de Paris
Distillerie de Paris is a place where creativity and experimentation gain their full meaning in order to be able to create innovative distillates. Since January 22, 2015, the first legal distillery in the city of Paris has created a variety of inspired spirits, according to the seasons, meetings and desires. Gin, whiskey, rom, brandy, vodka, sake ... are born here ... in very limited series. Sébastien and Nicolas Julhès are at the heart of the production, two brothers who have combined their culture, taste, gastronomy experience and passion for spirits to realize their dream and build a reputation as an innovative and unorthodox distiller. They are part of the Auvergne family, which quickly became famous in the food and beverage retail business since the launch of its first store in eastern Paris in 1996. In the 2000s, while in charge of shopping for the stores, Nicolas Julhès discovered the world of spirits. In 2010, he decided it was time to open his own distillery, feeling the need for a change in the world of spirits. In Paris, the city has an old ban on the production of alcoholic beverages, but the two brothers decide to overcome it. It took them five years to obtain the special status and permission to open La Distillerie de Paris, whose products we enjoy today.
