Tardieu-Laurent Winery was founded in 1994 by two friends - the famous Burgundy merchant Dominique Laurent and the energetic winemaker Michel Tardieu. As one of the class producers in the Rhone Valley, they use the oldest vineyards from the best plots in the Rhone, work with organic and biodynamic farmers and establish long-term relationships. Over the years, they have gained an influence that provides them with the best wines from the cellars of some of the largest estates in the region. Such a careful selection of a large number of plots and the care it requires upon arrival at the cellar cannot be done on a large scale. Today, Tardieu-Laurent's production remains limited, with two-thirds of the wine coming from the south and one-third from the north of the Rhone. Wines are sought after by connoisseurs around the world and regularly earn high marks from respected wine critics.
