Chateau Le Gay is in Pomerol, the smallest wine region in Bordeaux. The vineyards cover an area of 10.5 hectares, planted with 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, aged 40 years. Clay and gravelly soils, as well as extremely low yields, contribute to a complex and full-bodied wine. Aged in 100% new French oak for 18-20 months. The entire production was renewed in 2014. The sharp jump in the level of their wine began with the 2005 harvest. Today, it is a wine with a depth, character and ability to age that exceed its price.
