Ferrer Bobet
The winery was established in 2001 and bears the names of its two founders Sergi Ferrer-Salat and Raül Bobet. The vineyards cover an area of 15 hectares in the area of the village of Porrera, known for its northeast winds, as the coldest in the Priory, Catalonia. The terrain is steep and does not allow mechanization. The soil is mostly area-specific shale, famous for its name Lycorella. Ferrer Bobet wines are an expression of the specific terroir and precise production techniques. The diverse orientation of the plots creates microclimates that give complex and elegant wines. The reputation of this winery is so high, both in Spain and around the world, that it is easy to forget its recent appearance. The first wine is from the 2005 vintage.
