Peter Dipoli
Peter Dipoli is a talent from the new generation of winemakers. After extensive research, he identified the high and steep hills of Alto Adige as ideal for making complex and rich red and white wines with the potential for aging. In 1978, the Dipoli family bought a 1.2-hectare vineyard in Penon. It is a village in the Alto Adige region of northern Italy. Peter uproots the local red variety and plants Sauvignon Blanc. At this height, the grapes ripen longer and grow better, keeping the acids that allow them to age in the bottle fresh. Of course, these efforts pay off, because his Voglar - 100% Sauvignon Blanc, grown on almost vertical hills and matured in acacia barrels, is a bouquet of gorgeous exotic fruits and rich minerality. When Peter discovered a countertop in the region with a milder climate and clay soils, he repeated the success of his white wine with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a winery with a bright future ahead of it, thanks to the wines of its own nature that it produces.
