The fourth generation family of vine growers, Bernard Defaix started in 1959 with 2 hectares of vineyards. From the very beginning, they find a way to protect the vineyards from the spring frost and this allows them to be able to ensure a minimum amount of harvest each year. This in turn leads to stable growth of their clientele. Bernard's two sons have run the small business for the past 20 years.
