The Alfonso family has been making wine for generations in Val do Umia, and there are writings from the beginning of the 20th century that speak of the harvests and the elaboration of wine from the careful work of the vineyard. The current winery was founded in 1997, the work has become more professional, but the philosophy of their ancestors is still the same. They continue to work with traditional methods and biodynamic techniques, which respect the lunar phases, and which allow them to produce wines without chemical corrections and without filtering.
