Ouzo San Rivval is known as the only drink that was drunk in the Greek Royal Court. Towards the end of each distillation of the ouzo, herbs such as anise, coriander and fennel are added. The recipe of Sans Rival ouzo is one of the oldest in Greece and is kept a deep secret. Sans Rival is produced in the distillery of Ouzo Plomari on the island of Lesbos. The aroma is hauntingly aniseed with peppery nuances. The taste is rich and intense.
