More about this wine

Château Mouton Rothschild

Château Mouton Rothschild

This is the only Premiere Grand Cru winery, which since the historical classification in 1855 has been owned by one family - Rothschild. With extreme dedication and perseverance, they create the most famous and expensive wine brands in the world and manage to always be ahead and break dogmas and standards. They are the first to break the system of non-traders, who buy wine from barrels, bottle it and sell it, closing the process and personally putting their coat of arms on each bottle. In 1973, they changed their classification to the Premier Cru Classé, which has not happened since its creation more than 100 years ago. Everything in Mouton - from pruning the vines to bottling the wines - is done only by the best professionals, who, in most cases, are from several generations in the same position. The largest array is sown with 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot. Mouton Rothschild is the most lavish style of wine among the elite five Premier Cru Classé, with a dense texture, exotic individuality and potential for development for decades to come. Twice Winique.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon

This is probably the most famous red wine grape variety on Earth - a natural crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. From its origins in Bordeaux, this vine has successfully spread to almost every wine growing country in the world. Cabernet Sauvignon wines always demonstrate a handful of common character traits: deep color, excellent tannic structure and aromas of black berries and spices.
