Stonestreet Estate Vineyards

Stonestreet Estate Vineyards

Stonestreet Estate Vineyards is proof of the quality of highland winemaking in California. This is a collection of detached plots planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc - vines carved into the extreme landscape. They are located in the eastern part of the Alexander Valley AVA, at an altitude of 100 to 700 meters above sea level. Due to this, the property differs more than 20 types of soils and 20 temperature zones. Stonestreet Estate is a mosaic of peaks, valleys and ridges, volcanic soils and cold sea breezes. In order to guarantee maximum quality and authenticity, 235 plots have been separated, grouped by varieties and branches and in accordance with the complexity of the terrain and the applied viticultural practices. This variety allows master winemaker Lisa Valtenbergs to create plot-specific wines, vintage after vintage.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon

This is probably the most famous red wine grape variety on Earth - a natural crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. From its origins in Bordeaux, this vine has successfully spread to almost every wine growing country in the world. Cabernet Sauvignon wines always demonstrate a handful of common character traits: deep color, excellent tannic structure and aromas of black berries and spices.
