Volpe Pasini
Located in the heart of the DOC Colli Orientali in Friuli and built in the late sixteenth century, Volpe Pasini is one of the oldest wineries in northeastern Italy. According to old documents, the Volpe and Pasini families - the first Friulian farmers and the second - Venetian merchants - allied and founded the Volpe Pasini winery in 1596. Today it is one of the most important traditional wineries in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The owner and manager is the former radiologist Emilio Rotolo, supported by his son Francesco and with the invaluable consulting help of the important oenologist and agronomist Lorenzo Landi. Today, Volpe Passini sells half of its production outside Italy, relying on its solid sales network for more than thirty years.
