Миравал

Миравал

Château Miraval is located in the village of Correns, in the south of France and is mainly gaining popularity along with its famous owners - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who bought it and married there in 2014. In fact, they were not the first celebrities to visit and stay at the mansion. One of the previous owners, the French jazz pianist Jacques Lucie, installed a recording studio in the castle and names such as Sting, The Cranberries and even Pink Floyd can be found among the recorders. The mansion consists of 400 hectares, of which 30 are vineyards. In addition to its popular owners, the chateau is famous for its rosè wine - Côtes de Provence Rosé Miraval, the fruit of oenologist and co-owner Mark Perrin, and in 2020 a new product was launched - Rosé Champagne in collaboration with the champagne producer Rodolphe Peter.

Grenache

Grenache

Grenache (Garnacha) is a red-wine grape grown extensively in France, Spain, Australia and the United States. Grenache is the French name for the grape, while in Spain it is known as Garnacha, and on the island of Sardinia they call it Cannonau. In France it is most commonly found in the classic Southern Rhone Blend ( it is the main grape variety in Chateauneuf-du-Pape) but also plays a main role in one of southern France's signature Rosè wine style in Provence. In Spain, Garnacha is the key constituent in the prestigious wines of Priorat.
